Lifeband - AI Design Hackathon 2026
LifeLog is a predictive wellness system designed to help students manage stress and prevent burnout. The concept combines a wearable wristband with a companion mobile app to monitor patterns across physical health, schedule, digital behavior, and academic activity.

problem
Students today experience increasing levels of stress and burnout, yet most wellness tools rely on self-reporting or intervention only after stress has already escalated. Emotional and physiological warning signals often appear earlier in subtle behavioral patterns—such as irregular schedules, digital overuse, or sleep disruption—but these signals are rarely monitored together. As a result, students often recognize burnout only when it is already overwhelming.
solution
LifeLog proposes a predictive wellness system that detects early signals of stress by analyzing patterns across multiple domains, including physical health, schedule, digital behavior, and academic workload. By combining a wearable wristband with a companion app, the system identifies early indicators of stress and provides gentle interventions—such as breathing guidance, ambient feedback, and behavioral suggestions—to help users regulate their nervous system and restore balance before burnout occurs.
Design a system that detects stress patterns automatically and provides subtle, low-effort interventions.

Maya Chen — 20, College Student
Maya manages a demanding schedule that includes coursework, part-time work, and constant digital communication. Although she wants to maintain a healthy routine, her stress often accumulates gradually through irregular sleep, heavy screen time, and academic pressure.
